Chevrolet trucks never stop improving. While big updates were originally slated for the 2021 model year, some of these have been delayed to 2022 in light of the global pandemic. However, we do know some of the exciting updates the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado will boast.
For one thing, Chevy recently revealed that the Silverado would receive the innovative Multi-Flex Tailgate. In addition, the 2022 models will follow in the footsteps of the recently revamped 2021 Chevrolet Suburban and 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe, as GM Authority confirms. These updated SUVs boast tablet-like touch screen interfaces, digital instrument displays, plenty of refined, high-quality materials throughout the cabin.
On top of that, the Suburban and Tahoe gained the GM-exclusive 15-inch Head-Up Display, which makes it easy to see your speed and navigation instructions without taking your eyes off the road. These SUVs also gained family-friendly tech options, like a rear-seat entertainment system with 12.6-inch dual-screen displays — perfect for keeping the kids busy on a long road trip.
The Silverado HD models are also slated to receive major updates. Following the typical update cycle, these enhancements should arrive for the 2023 model year. In the meantime, check out the latest Chevrolet Silverado models here at Lannan Chevrolet of Woburn.
