The holidays are here, and it’s time to get into the spirit. If you are looking for some holiday fun in Woburn and the surrounding area for you and your family, these recommendations will keep you feeling cheerful the whole season long.
Boston Common Tree Lighting Ceremony
On Dec. 5 at 6 p.m., make the short drive to Boston Common for the annual tree lighting ceremony. Along with the tree ceremony, there will be a special ice skating performance. You can also head to the Park Street T station for food vendors and other festivities.
A special holiday tradition that many families follow is handing a wreath on their door. If you love the smell of a fresh pine wreath and have always wanted to know how to make one, register for a wreath-making workshop at the Mount Auburn Cemetery Greenhouse. It will be held on Dec. 5 at 10 a.m.
Breakfast with Santa
Come enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet with Santa at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Boston on Dec. 14. Breakfast will start at 8:30 a.m. After the meal, your kids can visit with Santa, get their pictures taken, and make a holiday craft. Be sure to buy your tickets early, as they’re likely to go fast.
Here at Lannan Chevrolet in Woburn, we hope these area holiday events will make an enjoyable and memorable addition to your seasonal calendar.
